What is SNAP Stretch?
SNAP Stretch is a way to help your SNAP customers' dollars go further. When they make a SNAP purchase of any qualifying SNAP item with their SNAP EBT card, they'll get a 1:1 match in SNAP Stretch dollars. So- for every dollar spent using SNAP, they'll receiver a dollar in SNAP Stretch.

What if they have children?
Great! If a child is present, they will receive an additional 1:1 match, in addition to regular SNAP Stretch.

What about Seniors?
SNAP Stretch is matched at a 1:2 rate for senior shoppers 60 or older!

What can SNAP customers' buy?
Shoppers can use an EBT card to purchase these items:
-fruits and vegetables
-meat, fish, and poultry (eggs)
-dairy products
-breads and cereals
-other foods such as snack foods and non-alcoholic beverages
-seeds and plants which produce food for the household to eat
SNAP Stretch can be used to purchase these items:
-fresh fruits and vegetables
-canned, dried, or frozen whole or cut fruits and vegetables without added sugars, fats, oils, or salt
-seeds and plants intended for cultivation and consumption (example: tomato seeds or tomato plants)
-fresh herbs (example: basil, thyme, mint)

What if they don't use all of their SNAP Stretch?
No worries! Your SNAP customers' can bring their SNAP Stretch back the next time they shop.

What form does SNAP Stretch come in?
SNAP Stretch is given out in tokens, paper scripts or vouchers, or discounts at checkout.
